Ground Breaking took place on February 2, 2007 for the Gold Canyon Village Shopping Center.  This site is 5+ acres located on SR #60. Construction is set to begin February 5, 2007.

Date January 4, 2007

Diversified Partners, a nationwide developer of large scale "Power Retail Centers" has chosen Can-Am to provide, land survey and civil engineering services for their new 26 acre project located at Loop 303 and Bell Road.


Date December 20, 2006

Can-Am has been awarded a contract by Sundt Construction - PHX office, to provide survey services for downtown improvements in the City of Glendale. These improvements in preparation for the Super Bowl, scheduled for January 2008.

Can-Am will provide survey for the construction of new sidewalks, curbs, landscaping, lighting and roadway improvements.


Date December 1st, 2006

Can-Am has been awarded 2 additional contracts by Sundt Construction - PHX office, to provide construction survey / roadway layout for Ironwood Road in Pinal County. The construction will double the capacity of the current 2 lane County Highway and add center turn lanes.

The two new contracts cover approximately 4 miles of highway and a bridge over the CAP canal. The total project including the initial contract will cover 10 miles.


Date November 30, 2006

Can-Am has teamed with Scottsdale Architectural firm, Deutsch Associates, to build Fire Station #265 to be located in Gold Canyon and a Battalion Chief's Quarters at Fire Station #263, located in Apache Junction.

Can-Am will provide civil engineering, land survey and landscape architectural services on both projects.

This will be the second new Fire Station project that Can-Am has done for the Apache Junction Fire District. The first was Station #264 located on Hwy #60 in Gold Canyon. Station #265 opened in the fall of 2006.

Can-Am is pleased to announce that they have been contracted by Cardon Malone Development, of Mesa Arizona, to create a Master Plan for the development of 100 acres of land in downtown Buckeye. This exciting project is expected to bring restaurants, retail locations and offices to a multi-use park with a western flair. It is expected that the development will include an abundance of remarkable water and landscape features. This development will be directly adjacent to a state of the art rodeo facility that draws people from all over the country.


Date September 4, 2006

Pinal County and Sundt Construction have chosen Can-Am to supply survey services for the major highway improvement to Ironwood Road, south of Apache Junction. The current roadway is a heavily traveled two lane corridor that will be widened to five lanes.

This project is expected to last approximately one year.


Date August 29, 2006

Can-Am has be selected by Diversified Partners of Scottsdale, AZ to provide land survey services on an 80 acre Power Center development located on SR #60 and Idaho Road in Apache Junction, AZ. This center will house a major national retailer and multiple retail and restaurant sites.

Off site work will include bringing a 24 inch water line across the SR #60 ROW.

UTAZ Development of Gilbert, Arizona, has contracted with Can-Am to design a multi-unit medical office condo project in Pinal County. This project will be adjacent to the new Banner Hospital under construction in Johnson Ranch on Ironwood Road. Can-Am will be providing survey and civil engineering design services


Date May 15, 2006

Can-Am is pleased to announce that Dave Burden, Vice President of Can-Am Engineering has been elected as Chairman of the Apache Junction Main Street Program and the Apache Junction Community Development Corporation. Mr. Burden will begin his term at the end of June, replacing Mr. Ed Braunger and Fire Chief John Flynn, current co-chairs.

Mr. Burden has been an active member of the Board of Directors for both entities since 2001. He has also been asked by George Hoffman, City Manager of Apache Junction, to sit on the Board of the newly formed Apache Junction Economic Development Team.

Many large changes and challenges face the City of Apache Junction with the
8,000 acre annexation and the development of the Superstition Vistas area. Mr. Burden looks forward to helping Apache Junction grow it's boundaries and it's economy.

Pinal County has announced that Can-Am Engineering Geomatics Arizona has been awarded an On-Call Consultant Contract for Survey Services.  This is the third consecutive Survey Contact that Pinal County Public Works has given to Can-Am. 

The company has been providing a full range of professional survey services to the County since 2001.

Can-Am is pleased to announce that we have contracted with Outback Range LLC. to provide land planning, civil design and survey services for their proposed 240 unit condominium development in Coolidge Arizona.

This very exciting concept will be in great demand in Arizona's real estate market.
The price point on these attractive units will be in the mid $100K's.

The principals of Outback Range LLC, originally from Ohio, have over 20
years of experience in building work-force housing and commercial properties.

Lake View Ranch

Can-Am has been awarded the contract on this 400 acre Planned Area Development (PAD).

Once again RJ Springer is developing another beautiful semi-custom single family development near Buckeye Arizona.

Can-Am is pleased to have been chosen to provide our client with the requisite land planning, civil design land survey, landscape architecture and engineer of record services.

We are proud to assist RJ Springer with the development of another of
their fine communities.


Date September 2005

Peak View Ranch VII thru XII

Can-Am has been awarded the contract on Peak View Ranch VII thru XII. This will be a 640 acre Master Planned Lake Community with a variety of densities and product types. The community will also feature a village downtown shopping area.
The project is located in Maricopa County near Buckeye Arizona.

Can-Am will provide land planning, civil engineering, land survey and landscape architecture. As with all projects in Maricopa County, we will also provide engineer of record services.

Peak View Ranch IV and V

RJ Springer Homes has awarded Can-Am, the contract to provide professional design services on their new 400 acre development in Maricopa County near Buckeye Arizona.

This is a semi-custom single family subdivision.
